The P.E. MacAllister Democracy Award is given each year to an individual who has made exceptional contributions to the Associated Equipment Distributor’s Government Affairs Program. The 2020 Democracy Award recipient is our very own 2nd gen leader Diane Benck!

Diane was AED’s first female Chairwoman in their 100 year history. During her AED chair, Diane participated in the tax reform bill allowing dealLegacyers to continue making the needed investments in inventory and rental fleets to support the construction industry. She also lobbied in support of an infrastructure bill and enhanced funding for the skilled trades. Diane has been effective in working with both sides of the aisle to make a positive impact on the industry. Congratulations Diane!
