Join the team

As a third-generation family business, we focus on building relationships for life. Our average employee tenure is nine years and we have over 20 employees that have been with us for more than 25 years. We also have a number of customer relationships that span generations–our first customer of 57 years ago has remained with us to this day.

Student Tours and Internships

West Side provides many learning opportunities for students to experience construction career paths. We offer job shadowing and summer employment, as well as internships for current high school, college and recent graduates.

Apprenticeship

West Side provides scholarships and financial assistance to students who are entering tech school and the John Deere Construction & Forestry Tech Program. West Side participates in the Union Apprenticeship Programs, as well as a Department of Labor Partnership with Ivy Tech.
