 West Side Tractor Sales Opens New Rockdale Facility.
West Side Tractor Sales recently opened its newest facility April 1st in Rockdale, Illinois, near Joliet. The new 3-acre facility will be located off of the south frontage road west of Rt. 7 (Larkin Avenue), which runs parallel to Interstate I-80. The address is 600 Walnut Court, Rockdale, IL 60436 and phone number 815-730-9011.
The 23,000-sq.-ft. facility features a 10-bay repair shop with a 34-ft. ceiling and heated shop floors. Two 10-ton overhead cranes will span all 10 bays. The service department is staffed with Local 150 shop technicians, lube truck technicians and fully equipped field service vehicles. The parts department will showcase a 4,000-sq.-ft. warehouse with 30-ft. ceiling height and full hydraulic hose making capabilities.
Steve Deller, West Side Tractor Sales’ General Service Manager, states that the new Rockdale location marks an on going commitment by West Side Tractor Sales to bring state-of-the-art facilities closer to where customers need them. “This new facility is a little farther west in our coverage area,” Deller said. “We’re trying to capitalize on the market growth in Will County, the nearby intersection of I-80 and I-55 just three miles west of the new store, and the newly opened I-355 extension that feeds I-80 just a few miles east of the new location.”
West Side Tractor Sales has five locations to service the construction equipment market of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. The full service facilities are located in Naperville, Rockford, Wauconda, South Holland and Rockdale (Joliet), Illinois.
