Hydraulics/Boom
Hydraulic flow is 10% greter, bucket dig force is 19% higher, and arm dig force is 8% higher than the ZX17U. These improvements will let operators move more cubic yards per hour. A tungsten carbide coating on the arm end and powdered- metal oil-impregnated bushings provide long life.

Pilot Control Levers
Repositioned pilot control levers are now located to the left and right sides of the operator - the same familiar arrangement as all other Zaxis-3 excavators.

Undercarriage
The new, hydraulically adjustable undercarriage retracts to less than 40 inches to pass through gates and other narrow openings and extends to 50 inches for operating stability. The backfill blade quickly folds back on each end to match the narrow track width.

Standard
The monitor has been redesigned for better visibility and features a fuel guage, engine coolant temperature guage and hour meter. Additional warning lights are provided to keep the operator informed of the machine operating conditions.

14.8 SAE net horsepower 0.85 L three-cylinder Tier 4-certified diesel delivers more power than its predecessor and is extremely quiet.
